1. General

These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms and Conditions") apply to all offers, products, orders, agreements, and deliveries made or concluded by Studio Cees via www.studiocees.com.

By placing an order via www.studiocees.com, the customer ("Customer") agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order.

Studio Cees reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version applicable to an order will be the version published on the website at the time of purchase.

2. Agreement and Orders
2.1
By placing an order, the Customer makes an offer to enter into a purchase agreement with Studio Cees.
2.2
Once the order has been processed, the Customer will receive an order confirmation by email. A binding agreement is formed upon confirmation of the order.
2.3
After an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled, adjusted, or combined with another order.
2.4
Prices are subject to change. Prices agreed upon at the time of purchase are binding unless an obvious pricing error has occurred. In such cases, Studio Cees reserves the right to correct the error and inform the Customer accordingly.
2.5
If Studio Cees is unable to fulfill an order, the Customer will be notified and offered the option to cancel the order and receive a full refund.
2.6
Studio Cees reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at any time, including but not limited to cases of suspected fraud, payment issues, or stock unavailability.
2.7
All products are subject to availability. Studio Cees specialises in luxury homeware accessories and decorative cushions. Product availability may vary and delays may occur during periods of high demand.
3. Payment and Payment Methods
3.1
Studio Cees accepts the following payment methods:
- iDEAL
- Visa
- Mastercard
- PayPal
- Apple Pay
- Klarna
3.2
All prices displayed on the website include VAT where applicable but exclude shipping costs and any customs duties, taxes, or import fees.
3.3
Payment is due at the time of placing the order. Orders will only be processed after full payment has been received.
3.4
All transactions are processed securely. Studio Cees is not responsible for any fees charged by banks, payment providers, or currency conversion services.
4. Shipping and Delivery
4.1
Studio Cees ships orders from the Netherlands using PostNL, DHL, DPD, UPS, or other selected shipping partners.
4.2
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery destination.
4.3
Orders are generally dispatched within 24–48 hours after purchase unless otherwise stated.
4.4
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on destination, customs procedures, carrier delays, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond Studio Cees' control.
4.5
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information. Studio Cees is not responsible for delays, additional costs, or lost shipments resulting from incorrect address information.
4.6
The risk of loss or damage transfers to the Customer once the order has been delivered to the specified delivery address.
5. Duties and Taxes for Non-EU Countries
5.1
Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to local taxes, customs duties, and fees imposed by the destination country ("Import Fees").
5.2
Import Fees are not included in the product price or shipping costs displayed at checkout.
5.3
The Customer is solely responsible for the payment of all Import Fees associated with the delivery of their order.
5.4
If a shipment is refused or abandoned due to unpaid Import Fees, Studio Cees reserves the right to deduct any costs incurred, including return shipping costs, from any refund that may be issued.
6. Returns & Refunds
6.1 Return Period
Studio Cees accepts returns within 14 days from the date of delivery.
6.2 How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please email infostudiocees@gmail.com and include:
- Your order number
- Your full name
- The item(s) you wish to return
- The reason for the return
Once your return request has been received, we will provide further instructions for returning your item(s).
6.3 Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer. Studio Cees does not reimburse return shipping expenses unless otherwise required by applicable law.
6.4 Return Conditions
Returned items must:
- Be returned within 14 days of delivery;
- Be unused, unwashed, and in their original condition;
- Be returned in their original packaging;
- Be free from damage, stains, odors, or signs of wear.
Studio Cees reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions. If a return is rejected, the item may be returned to the Customer at their expense.
6.5 Refunds
Once we have received and inspected the returned item(s), they will undergo a quality control check. If the return is approved, a refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
6.6 Refund Processing Time
Studio Cees aims to process all approved returns and refunds within 14 business days after receipt of the returned item(s).
6.7 Return Shipment Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that returned items are packaged securely for transit. Studio Cees is not responsible for damage or loss occurring during the return shipment process.
7. Product Information
7.1
Studio Cees specialises in handmade luxury homeware accessories and decorative cushions crafted from 100% cotton. Due to the handmade nature of our products and the characteristics of natural materials, slight variations in colour, texture, dimensions, pattern placement, and finish may occur.
7.2
Such variations are a natural characteristic of the product and are not considered defects. These variations do not constitute grounds for a refund, replacement, or complaint.
7.3
Studio Cees strives to display all products as accurately as possible. However, colours may appear differently depending on screen settings, device displays, and photography. Studio Cees cannot guarantee that product colours will appear exactly the same in person as displayed online.
7.4
All product descriptions, photographs, measurements, and specifications are provided for informational purposes only. Studio Cees reserves the right to make minor changes or improvements to products without prior notice.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
13.1
These Terms and Conditions and all agreements between Studio Cees and the Customer shall be governed exclusively by Dutch law.
13.2
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions, the use of the website, or any agreement between Studio Cees and the Customer shall be submitted exclusively to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
